Owen Tatton Ltd are major stockists and distributors of steel and concrete lintels, concrete products and specialist building materials.
We carry the largest stock in the UK from one depot at Horwich, Bolton and distribute to an area from north Birmingham to the Scottish border including Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Manchester, Cheshire, North Wales, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and North East England.
No distributor carries the volume of special steel lintels. Concrete lintels, fair faced and fire spec are standard stock to Owen Tatton Ltd.
Concrete products and specially sized concrete padstones are stocked in our 36000 sq ft warehouse unit.
Owen Tatton's staff are all technically aware and can advise our customers on product choice and technical solutions to building problems, as they all have many years experience in the building industry.
We supply builders' merchants, house builders, building contractors and brickwork contractors with not only steel and concrete lintels and concrete products, but also Redbank flues and chimneys, Z-led cavity trays, Dacatie Insulated Cavity Closers, Visqueen Zedex and Ruberoid DPC, wall ties, straps and fixings.
Latest news from OTL is our Garage Door Division which can supply or supply and fit garage doors throughout the north of England. Our engineers will call and survey to ensure we quote you for the best garage doors with or without electric operation and to ensure the brickwork opening is the correct dimensions to accept the door. Steel, fiberglass or timber garage doors from various manufacturers can be supplied or supplied and fitted within 7-10 days.

Owen Tatton Ltd continues to expand even in these difficult trading times!! We have increased our Sales Team with the appointment of Christopher Cowley as Management Trainee. Chris graduated from the University of Bolton with a BA (Hons) degree in International Business and Management, and joined the company 6 months ago. He initially spent 4 months working with our Yard Manager, gaining valuable ‘hands on’ experience of all our products and delivery procedures. Now Chris has joined the Sales Team he will, for the next 6 to 12 months, be working alongside our Director Peter Owen, developing his Telesales skills. After this period it is hoped he will then go on to work with our Director Harold Tatton and the External Sales Team.
Our sister company, Pickford Concrete Ltd, has also expanded with the appointment of Mike Moore as General Manager. Mike has been brought into the company to ensure our Precast products are manufactured to the highest standards, and to develop new products. Already we are producing Acid Etched Wetcast heads and cills etc., and have won orders from National House Builders. Peter Owen, Harold Tatton and Colin Benson established Owen Tatton Ltd in 2005.
Peter has vast experience of the steel and concrete lintel market, having worked for several Builders Merchants as well as Catnic. Harold has previously worked as sales and marketing director for Cooper Clarke, helping take the company from £1m turnover to £55m turnover during his 14 years.
Colin has a finance and house building background. The three directors expertise, together with their experienced staff, have developed OTL into the No.1 distributor of building material products in The North of England.
